Virtual Chapter Meeting – Recording Playback is Available

A special thank you to Russ Prechtl for presenting our first Virtual Chapter Meeting for the Central Illinois Chapter of ASSP!

The meeting was a great success with nearly 30 participants on the call and online screen presentation.  A recording of the meeting is now available at the following link.  Simply click on the link to view and listen to the entire meeting!

As mentioned in previous communications and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ASSP has mandated that all in-person events be postponed or cancelled through May 15, 2020; or move the event to a virtual format.

Russ Prechtl is a health, safety, and emergency service professional with 32 years of experience across a broad range of industries, leadership and training functions, and diverse groups. Currently a certified safety professional in a chemical plant, OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Special Government Employee, Joliet Jr. College Adjunct Instructor, and practicing EMT-Paramedic. Russ also serves as member of the Central Illinois Chapter of ASSP Executive Committee.

Establish a Safety Fund

Donors can establish a named academic scholarship or professional education grant fund through the ASSP Foundation. Scholarships and grants advance the safety profession and provide national recognition for the donor. The Foundation manages the administrative details of this program and works with the donor to provide qualified award recipients each year.
